Utegg, 74, of Maple Avenue, died Thursday (April 8, 2004) in St. Mary's Home in Erie. She was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Raymond and Lillian Pierce Bush. She was a graduate of Lander High School in Pennsylvania and was a homemaker. She was a seasonal employee of Carris Fruit Farms of Ripley and the Harvest Restaurant in North East. She was a member of the Ripley United Methodist Women's Association, Ripley 500 Card Club and the St. Joe's Tuesday Night Ladies Bowling League. She is survived by two sons: Henry J. and Bruce A. Utegg, both of Ripley; three daughters: Shirley J. Mann of Vermillion Ohio, Linda L. Cave of Ripley and Evelyn M. Gorniak of Wattsburg, Pa.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Ruth Farley of Hamilton, Mass., and Carol Wright of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Utegg, who died Aug. 4, 1992; and three brothers: Robert, Donald and Howard Bush. In! terment will be in the East Ripley Cemetery.
