She was born July 29, 1910, in Cianciana, Italy, the daughter of Joseph and Anna Marie Pulizzi D’Angelo. A United States resident since 1912, and a Jamestown resident since 1929, she had been employed by Weber Knapp for 43 years as a polisher, retiring in 1975. She was a communicant of St. James Catholic Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and the Marco Polo Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons: Angelo P. Palermo of Jupiter, Fla., and Joseph J. Palermo of Jamestown; five grandchildren: Catherine Sullivan of San Francisco, Elizabeth Hedberg of Atlanta, James Palermo of LaGrange, Ill., Christopher Palermo of Cincinnati and Andrew Palermo of Bloomington, Ind.; two great-granddaughters; three sisters: Cath! erine Colera and Mary Ann Carlo, both of Jamestown and Rose Crise of Fredonia; and four brothers: Angelo and Peter D’Angelo, both of Jamestown, Vincent D’Angelo of San Antonio and Thomas D’Angelo of Johnson City, N.Y. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Palermo, whom she married May 1934, and who died April 13, 1966; her second husband, Joseph Nalbone, whom she married May 1983, and who died January 13, 1996; and two brothers: Joseph and Anthony D’Angelo. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. John L. Kuhlmann, pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
