Himes, 44, of 220 Richard Ave., died at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005, in the WCA Hospital. She was the wife of Roger A. Himes, whom she married Oct. 19, 1966 in Busti. A lifelong area resident, she was born July 23, 1960, in Jamestown, the daughter of Marlene Darling Hoch and the late Norman Hoch Sr. A graduate of Maple Grove High School, she had been employed by Wilson Farms as an assistant manager for 14 years and was presently employed by Zurn Industries in Falconer. She was an avid bowler who enjoyed skeet shooting, car racing and NASCAR. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother of Jamestown; a son, Jerry “Jay-Jay” Reeves III of Kennedy; a daughter, Catherine Reeves of Dunkirk; a stepson, Timothy Allan Himes of Frewsburg; two stepdaughters: Angela Marie Seeling of Modesto, Calif., and Alicia Christine Wilson of Jamestown; two grandchildren: Brett Michael Reeves of Kennedy, and Andrew Pacitti of Jamestown; three sisters: Jackie Thompson of Flomaton, Ala., Shirley Himes of Jamestown, and Susan Hanley of Stockton; and four brothers: Robert and Charles Hock of Jamestown, Norman Hoch of Ellington, and William Hoch of Ashville. Besides her father, who died in 1997, she was preceded in death by an infant son and a grandson, Alexander Christopher Pacitti. Burial will be in the Ivory Cemetery.
