Second St., died at 9:12 a.m. Monday (Feb. 26, 2001) in the nursing facility. She was born Dec. 2, 1911, in Enna, Sicily, the daughter of Mario and Mary Treccarichi Tilaro. She had been employed by the former National, Empire and Jamestown Worsted Mills, Star Cleaners and Nelson’s Department Store. She was a former member of the YWCA, Mother’s Club at the former Boys Club, Children of Mary Club, and was a communicant of St. John Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, Maurice J. Paterniti of Jamestown; a stepdaughter, Norma Floccare of Lakewood; five grandchildren: Holly Gatto of Bemus Point, Rick Paterniti of Indianapolis, Chris Paterniti of Erie, Amy Hutley of Warren and Joseph Paterniti of Jamestown; eight stepgrandchildren: Arnold DePetro of Marietta, Ga., Jeffrey DePetro, Shelly Buttafaro and Susan Carlson, all of Jamestown, Annie Windon of Sarasota, Fla., Dr. ! Douglas Floccare of Baltimore, Lisa Cooper of Lakewood and Andrew Floccare of Waucowda, Ill.; 38 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Carmela Baggiano and Marion Digregorio, both of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Paterniti, who died in 1949; her second husband, Silvio DePetro, who died in 1988; a son, Joseph ‘‘Joe Pepsi’’ Paterniti, Dec. 6, 1989; a stepson, Arnold DePetro; a grandson, Dennis Paterniti; a brother, Sebastian Tilaro; and a sister, Angeline LaMarca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. John Catholic Church, The Rev. Donald S. Fafinski, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
