Mescall Sr., 72, of 3468 Fluvanna-Townline Road, died at 6:44 p.m. Tuesday (Dec, 11, 2001) in WCA Hospital. A native of Jamestown, he was born Dec. 5, 1929, a son of Lawrence and Mary E. Adams Mescall Sr. He attended Jamestown Public Schools, and was a 38-year employee of Carborundum Monofrax, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife, Carrol L. Travers Mescall, whom he married May 19, 1956; two daughters: Kimberly A. Morrison of Kennedy and Christine L. Berg of Jamestown; a son, Milton D. Mescall Jr. of Brookville, Pa.; and nine grandchildren: He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Hepmer; and two brothers: John Phillip and Lawrence Mescall Jr. Burial will be in the Fluvanna Cemetery.
