She was born Dec. 6, 1927, in Warren, the daughter of Wayne and Anna Rogers Fitzgerald. A lifelong resident of Warren, she was a 1945 graduate of Warren High School. She had been employed by GTE Sylvania in the accounting department, retiring in 1986 after 29 years of service. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was an avid golfer and played in the Tuesday Ladies League at Blueberry Hill Golf Club. She loved to knit Christmas stockings. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Orlo K. Rieder, whom she married in 1947 in Ripley; a daughter, Jan Murray of Bemus Point; two sons: James Rieder of Canton, Ohio, and Terry Rieder of Painesville, Ohio; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Virginia Boyce of Lakeland, Fla.; and a brother, Wayne Fitzgerald Jr. of Sharon, Pa. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Warren.
