Price, 95, formerly of 23 Mont Alto Drive, died Friday (Aug. 19, 2005) in Heritage Park Health Care Center. A Jamestown resident most of her life, she was born Oct. 3, 1909, in Berwyn, Ill., the daughter of Hjalmar and Linnea Peterson Paulson. She was a 1927 graduate of Jamestown High School and a 1931 graduate of the WCA Hospital School of Nursing. She attended Columbia University Teachers College. She had been employed by WCA Hospital as a registered nurse, and as an instructor of nursing arts at WCA Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of First Lutheran Church serving as a Sunday school teacher and member of Women of the Evangelical Church of America. Her other memberships include WCA Hospital Alumni Association, Jamestown Graduate Nurse Association, Gustav Adolphus Children's Home Auxiliary, American Scandinavian Heritage Foundation and the Marvin Community House. She is survived by a son, William H. Price Jr. of Jamestown; and a granddaughter, Susan L! . Price of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Price Sr., whom she married Aug. 26, 1939, and who died Sept. 7, 1984; a sister, Elsa Vaughn; and two brothers: H. Lorentz Paulson and Roy Paulson. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
