Hallberg, 83, of 172 Chandler St., died at 11:50 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1969, in Jamestown General Hospital. She was the widow of Amel E. Hallberg, who died in 1955. She was born in Ellery, March 19, 1886, the daughter of Orville C. and Martha O. Simmons Casselman. Mr. and Mrs. Hallberg were married Jan. 3, 1905 in Gerry. Surviving are five sons: Ralph Hallberg, R. D. 2, Jamestown; Charles Robert Hallberg and DeForest Hallberg, both of Jamestown; Richard Hallberg, Fostoria, Ohio; and Carl Hallberg, Bemus Point; six daughters: Mrs. Max Tibel, Mrs. Arthur Butler, Mrs. Clifford Kulp, all of Buffalo; Mrs. Clair Higgs, Bemus Point, and Mrs. Charles Baglia and Mrs. Clarence Peterson, both of Jamestown; 15 grandchildren: two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Stowell and Mrs. George Crandall, both of Bemus Point; and two brothers, Alton Casselman, Maple Springs; and DeForest Casselman, Youngstown, Ohio. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery Bearers at the funeral of Stella M. Hallberg were: DeForest Hallberg, Robert Hallberg, Richard Hallberg, Clarence Peterson, Charles Baglia and Clifford Kulp. Attending from away were Mr. and Mrs. DeForest Hallberg, Brocton; Mrs. Arthur Butler, Buffalo; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Brathwaite, Pontiac, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Kulp, Mr. and Mrs. George Bulger and Amy, Mr. and Mrs. David Gerevics, Tonawando; Mr. and Mrs. David Kulp, Eggertsville; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hallberg and Gregory, Fostoria, Ohio.
