Berg, 74, of the Dutch Hollow Road, died at 7 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 1, 1969) at his home. He had been employed at Hope's Windows Inc. for 47 years. He retired eight years ago. A lifelong resident of this area, he was born in Jamestown, April 5, 1894, a son of Charles A. and Hulda Nelson Berg. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Della Hallberg Berg, whom he married Sept. 15, 1921; a brother, Carl E. Berg, Busti-Stillwater Road; a sister, Mrs. Helen Nelson, Jamestown. Mr. Berg was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon T. Berg, in Dec. 1968, in Pensacola, Fla. and two sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Beal in 1962; and Mrs. John Klinger, several years ago. Burial will be in the Fluvanna Cemetery.
