Christenson, 73, of 303 W. Fifth St., Jamestown, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday (March 28, 2001) in WCA Hospital. A lifelong area resident, she was born Dec. 14, 1927, in Jamestown, the daughter of Emil and Hildur Rydell Seagren. She was a 1945 graduate of Jamestown High School and had been employed as a nursing assistant by Lutheran Social Services and the Presbyterian Home for several years. In earlier years, she had been employed by the former Gold Star Market for many years. She attended First Lutheran Church, was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion Auxiliary, Falconer, and a former member of the Falconer Moose Lodge Auxiliary. She is survived by two sons: Martin B. Johnson of Jamestown and Douglas A. Johnson of Kennedy; a daughter, Cheryl A. Norris of Jamestown; four grandchildren: and three great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
