White, 65, of 1642 Riverside Road, died Friday (Sept. 7, 2001) in Hamot Medical Center, Erie. A lifelong area resident, she was born Sept. 21, 1935, in Frewsburg, a daughter of Edwin W. and Bessie Johnson Annis. She was the wife of Ronald A. White, whom she married March 18, 1955. She was a 1954 graduate of Frewsburg High School and a 1972 graduate from Jamestown Community College. She was an instructor in China painting for many years. She was a member of the Sunny Brook Rebekah Lodge, Chautauqua Region Embroiders Guild of America, Chautauqua County Society of Artists, New York State Southern Tier Porcelain Artists, Chautauqua Porcelain Painters, Knitters Guild and Doll Study Club of Jamestown. Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Jeffrey A. White of Ashville; a daughter, Karen M. Loverme of Jamestown; three grandchildren: a brother, Roger E. Annis of Frewsburg; and a sister, Patricia A. Anderson of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her father, who died ! in 1964, and her mother, who died in 1960. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
