She was born Aug. 29, 1915, in Ellington, the daughter of Ernest and Gertrude Johnson Mesel. She was a 1932 graduate of Cherry Creek High School and had been employed by the former Curtis Burns Canning Factory in South Dayton for 30 years. She was a member of the South Dayton United Methodist Church and the South Dayton Rebecca Lodge. She is survived by two sons: Roger Lincoln of Kenosha, Wisc., and Terry Lincoln of Gettysburg, Pa.; two daughters: Patricia Mount of Crossville, Tenn., and Nancy Howard of Randolph; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ralph Mesel of Sanford, N.C., and Ernest Mesel of Jamestown; and four sisters: Mildred Willett of Gainesville, Fla., Louise Delac of Pinehurst, N.C., Lucille Cover of Dayton, Ohio, and Alecyn Huitefeldt of Lackawanna. Sh! e was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Lincoln, who died in October 1992; a sister, Elva Prossor; and three brothers: Kenneth, Ronald and Hiram Mesel. Inurnment will be in Cherry Creek Central Cemetery, village of Cherry Creek.
