She was the widow of Alvin N. Gustavson, former general superintendent at AVM Corp., who died Aug. 8, 1966. She was born in Cherry Creek, Feb. 28, 1881, the daughter of John A. and Hedwig Ruckman. Mrs. Gustavson had been a resident of Jamestown until 1940, when she and her husband acquired the Pullman farm at Bay View. She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and Liedblad Bible Class, the Ladies Aid and was a former member of the church choir. Surviving are a son, Roy L. Gustavson, Celoron; two daughters, Mrs. Vern C. Dickeson, Bemus Point; and Mrs. William S. Steen, Greenhurst; six grandchildren, Mrs. W. James Pashley, Rochester; Mrs. David Reisborg, Neuernburg, Germany; Mrs. Robert P. Lincoln, Los Altos, Calif.; Peter A. Boyle, Central Islip, L. I.; Mrs. Thomas Schlemmer, Bradenton, Fla.; and William S. Steen Jr., Maple Springs; 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
