Mary Lou Mecuster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Mecusker of Dutch Hollow Road, suffered a skull fracture, fractured right forearm, fractures of both legs and multiple abrasions. She was first treated at WCA Hospital in Jamestown and then transferred to Buffalo. Chautauqua County Deputy Sheriff Toby Pieszewski said the girl rode her bicycle from a driveway when it was involved in a collision with an automobile driven by Elmer A. Fisher, 48, of Berry Road, Fredonia. The child was taken to WCA Hospital by the Bemus Point Volunteer Fire Department ambulance crew. Mary Lou Mecusker was born June 1, 1957, in Jamestown. She attended Fluvanna Community Church and the Sunday School. She was a fifth grade student at Fluvanna School. Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Margaret and Nancy; three brothers, Dudley, James and Patrick; her maternal grandparents, Mrs. and Mrs. Thorsten Thorstonson, Jamestown; two uncles, Arthur Thorstonson, Jamestown and Curtis Mecusker, Bemus Point; one aunt, Mrs. Edna Parnell, LaMesa, Calif.; and several cousins. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Henderson-Lincoln Funeral Home. The Rev. Wayne J. Hamilton of the Fluvanna Community Church will officiate. Burial will be in Fluvanna Cemetery.
