Geertson, 74, of Manor Oak Life Center, formerly of 104 Greenhurst Village Drive, died Monday (April 16, 2001) in the facility. She was born Dec. 23, 1926, in Jamestown, the daughter of Donald and Emma Peterson Gustafson. She is survived by her husband, Raymond ‘‘Abe’’ Geertson of Jamestown; two daughters: Rebecca McCallum of Maple Springs and Donna Johnson of Bemus Point; three stepchildren: Robert Geertson of Ashville, Peter Geertson and Martha Kryszczuk, both of Buffalo; four grandchildren: three great-grandsons; three stepgrandchildren; and a brother, Bud Gustafson of Okeechobee, Fla. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Richard Pearson, who died in 1970; a son, Hiram L. Borst, June 30, 1997; a sister, Verna J. Olson in 1980; and an infant brother, Theodore Gustafson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
