The crash occured at 1:10 p.m. Friday in the town of Arkwright. Douglas Bigelow, 68, of Forestville, and his passenger, Tenny Bigelow, 69, were driving on Straight Road when they hit a car driven by ****** ( names omitted) Both Bigelows were ejected from their car on impact and pronounced dead at the scene. (*WGRZ tv news ) Douglas Bigelow FORESTVILLE - Douglas L. Bigelow, 68, of Walnut Creek Road, Forestville, died unexpectedly Friday (Aug. 26, 2005) in the town of Arkwright. Mr. Bigelow was born in Springville on Feb. 7, 1937, the son of the late Leslie Bigelow and Lois (Mosher) Bigelow Gielinski. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked as a material handler for the Ford Stamping Plant in Buffalo. Mr. Bigelow was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Fredonia, a former member of Hanover Lodge 152 F. & A.M., Forestville,Survivors include two daughters Jane Balzer of Charlotte, N.C., and Judy Ainsworth of Matthews, N.C.; one son, Daniel Bigelow of Fredonia; one sister, Annette Brown of Easton, Maine; two brothers, Kenneth Bigelow of Anaheim, Calif., and Wayne Bigelow of Lake George, Colo.; seven grandchildren, one aunt, one uncle and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Tenny (Webb) Bigelow, whom he married June 16, 1962 in Buffalo and who died Aug. 26, 2005, and a half-brother, Dave Mosher. Tenny C. Bigelow, 69, of Walnut Creek Road, Forestville, died unexpectedly Friday (Aug. 26, 2005) in the town of Arkwright. Mrs. Bigelow was born in Dallas, Texas on June 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Allan S. and Edith V. (Uhlig) Webb. She was a graduate of Bennett High School Class of 1954Survivors include two daughters, Jane Balzer of Charlotte, N.C., and Judy Ainsworth of Matthews, N.C.; one son, Daniel Bigelow of Fredonia; one sister, Shirley Zygmunt of Kenmore; two brothers David Webb of Villa Park, Calif., and Albert S. Webb of Summerville, S.C.; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Bigelow, whom she married June 16, 1962 in Buffalo and who died Aug. 26, 2005. (pj obits, edited for brevity)
