Saturday in Children's Hospital, Buffalo. Rose Ann, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Brown of 48 Foote Avenue, was transferred to Buffalo Friday Night after lapsing into a coma at W.A.C. Hospital, where she had been a patient since June 29th. She suffered the head injury in a fall down 16 concrete steps at home. Investigation is continuing into the cause of death, but physicians attributed the coma to delayed hemorrhage. Seven police agencies cooperated Friday to rush Rose Ann to Buffalo. Traveling by private car, she was escorted in turn by Jamestown police, sheriff's deputies of Chautauqua, Chautauqua and Erie counties, and police from Hamburg, Lackawanna and Buffalo. Although her condition was reported "serious" after her 9:40 P.M. arrival at Children's Hospital, she was said to be improving Saturday morning. She was born June 24, 1954, in Jamestown, She is survived by her parents; a brother Leroy Jr; a sister Ruby; her paternal grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Brown of Jamestown, and her maternal grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Latta of Stedman.
