See we have this very large, very frail family bible. My grandmother had it and she brought it by one day and we kept it. So my mom copied all the information recorded into it on paper, and now the bible is wrapped in cloth, hiding in a deep dark closet. There are names, and there are dates. Not all names have dates. Some have a little information as to a location, like where someone was married, but not many. I believe my great grandmother was the person who wrote down all of the information, but I do not know for sure. As I said before, I wasn't even aware that there were Staffords in the family until I read it in the bible. So I posted it on Chautauqua County because that is where alot of my relatives ended up. But I don't know if these people ever even stepped foot in Chautauqua. My only hope is that someone comes accross this who has knowledge of someone I've listed.
