Jan. 29, 1789 VT. d. Mar. 18, 1857. Age 69. s/o John Love Sr., (born 1769 in Conn. Came to Town of Ellery in Feb. 1811. Died in Illinois) & Sally (Rose ) Love. md. Jan. 12, 1809 - Mary S. Ward. John Love Jr. came to Chautauqua County in 1809, two years before his father. He erected an Inn which he kept for 30 years. In 1812 purchased farm in Gerry and settled by Amos Atkins.
