Christy was born in Jamestown at WCA Hospital on May 7, 1963, the daughter of Paul Herbert Foster of Reidsville, N.C. and Patsy Todd of Dillion, Dillion, S.C. She was a communicant of St James Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be observed on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. at St James Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchere Cemetery. A family and close friends only viewing at Huberts Funeral Home will be at 9 a.m. on Wednesday. Pallbearers are Uncle Robert A. Foster, Philip Foster, Ronald Foster, Paul Foster Jr., and two army reservists from Gerry NY. Christy had surgery two weeks prior to her death at WCA Hospital and had complications from that surgery developing blood clots in her heart and left carrated artery causing stroke and heart attacks. She was taken to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa and later transferred to St Vincent Hospital in Erie Trauma unit and brain surgical unit but developed more severe blood clots from prescribed removal from blood thinning meds two weeks prior. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ed and Dessie Todd of Dillion SC and Herbert Perl Foster of Jamestown, NY. She is survived by her husband William Evans of Jamestown, NY whom she married January 17,1990 in Dillion SC, a son Jerry Hyatt of Columbus, Ohio, a grandaughter Coral Jade Hyatt of Columbus, Ohio, her parents Paul and Paula Marie Landreth Foster of Reidsville, NC and Patsy Todd of Dillion, SC. She is also survived by three brothers - Todd of Arizona, Ronald and Minnie of New Parliament, Ohio and Paul (Squirt), Jr. of Dillion, SC. She is also survived by step brothers Richard Landreth and Chris Landreth of Reidsville, NC, a half half sister Ramona Ivy of Morganton, NC.
