VANDEWARK DIES AT CENTRALIA Sinclairville -- Lynn Albert VanDewark, 72, died at his home near Centralia early today [ Thursday, Feb 17, 1949 ]. He is survived by his wife, Clara; a son, Raymond, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Gift Smith, Sherman; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Holley, Jamestown, a brother, Ross Vanderwarker, Jamestown, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday from the residence near Centralia. Rev. Russell I. Hinderer, pastor of the Church of God, Jamestown, will officiate. Vandawark were held from the home near Centralia Saturday afternoon. Rev. Russell I. Hinderer, pastor of the Church of God, Jamestown, officiated. The bearers were Gene Tilyou, Merrill (sic) [Merrills] Smith, Allen E. Smith, Donald Smith, Mr. Larson and Gene Turpin. Friends and relatives were present from Buffalo, Jamestown, Ellery, Sherman, Bemus Point, Stockton, South Stockton, Sinclairville, Dewittville, Falconer and Hartfield.
