Hello, I am looking for information regarding members of the DAWSON family who lived in Ripley from approximately 1850-1900. John Wesley DAWSON died there 8 August 1890 and his wife, Emeline (nee ROSS) DAWSON lived there until her death on 29 October 1902. John and Emeline also had siblings who married each other and lived in Ripley during that period, according to census records: Ann Irene ROSS married Isaac DAWSON. Emeline's brother Perrin D. ROSS and his wife Jane (nee BEATTY) also lived in Ripley. If anyone has infornmation on any of these people, I would be happy to make connection and exchange/compare information.
