Aaron's son, David, was my great great grandfather. Others of the family settled in Chautauqua County as well. I'm not sure when or where Aaron and Rhoda died. It would be wonderful to fine this information someday. I do know David ended up in Muskoka District, Ontario, Canada. He was married several times and may have travelled back and forth between Michigan and Ontario. I would have to agree that this line has not been easy to trace. It's nice to see I'm not the only one having problems. I believe they may have "originated" in Massachusetts. William and Esther (parents of Aaron and Betsey) were probably married in Mason, New Hampshire. Their children were born in Windham, Londonderry, Vermont. I don't have any documentation for my information as I've just been picking up bits and pieces from other people. I am willing to share what I have though. It could, if nothing else, be used as a basis for further research. Hope I can be of help to others researching the Scott/Elliot connection. Jenny
