Coffin, 82, of Loyalton of Lakewood, 220 Southwestern Drive, formerly of 1671 Martin Road, died at 7:37 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 8, 2005) in WCA Hospital. A native of Jamestown, she was born Sept. 13, 1923, the daughter of John B. and Lillian Johnson Collins, Jr. She was the wife of Merrill E. ''Pete'' Coffin, whom she married April 22, 1945 and confirmed in the Bethel Lutheran Church. She was a 1942 graduate of Jamestown High School and participated in the A Cappella Choir. In former years she was employed in Eckerd Drug Store and was a dental assistant for Dr. Richard N. Lindbeck. Surviving besides her husband are a son Thomas E. Coffin of Jamestown; two daughters, Sandra L. Nagurney of Lakewood and Tabetha J. Butler of Ashville; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Scott M. Coffin who died July 15, 1980. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
