Falconer St. died at 3:44 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2001, in Lutheran Social Services. She was the widow of Russell J. Alessi, whom she married Nov. 23, 1939 in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Silver Creek and who died Feb. 21, 1995. An area resident most of her life, she was born July 1, 1920, in Silver Creek, a daughter of Philip and Stepphanie Iacono DePasquale. She attended Silver Creek High School and was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic Church in Falconer. She is survived by two sons: Vincent Alessi of Bemus Point and Philip Alessi of Downington, Pa.; two daughters: JoAnn Bzdak of Jamestown and Carol Heelas of Falconer; six grandchildren: Laurie Robbins in Westfield, Christopher Alessi of Los Angeles, Jody Bzdak of Stow, Ohio, Jennifer Bzdak and Mandy Woolschlager, both of Jamestown and Kyle Heelas of Falconer; three brothers: Philip, Joseph, and Samuel DePasquale, all of Silver Creek; and two sisters: Jean Pulvino of Dunkirk and Betty Jane Costello of Pembroke Pine, Fla. Falconer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Falconer.
