James Samuel and Margaret Wheeler Scofield/Schofield. Their daughters married Smith M. Cole, Samuel Jones, James Van Pelt, Lucien Cole. Their sons married into the Daniel Stearns family, McAllister family, and DeMott family. The DeMott family lived around Ellery and the Scofield/Schofield family lived around Charlotte and Gerry.
