He was born March 28, 1930, in Jamestown,Chautauqua Co NY the son of Clayton and Marion Weatherly Ball. He is survived by three sons: Bradley, Bruce and Brian; and eight grandchildren: Adam, Erin, Andrew, Julie, Katie, Cody, Sarah and Taylor; and a sister, Helen Nye of North Carolina. He retired from Gleason Works, and was a member of Browncroft Community Church. He will be greatly missed by his daughters-in-laws: Judith, Jean and Stacey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Kelley Ball, whom he married April13, 1957 in the First Methodist Church in Jamestown, and who died in 2001. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Browncroft Community Church, 2350 Browncroft Blvd., Rochester. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Willard H. Scott Funeral Home, 12 South Ave., Webster.
