Shea, 95, formerly of Cheektowago, died at 11:20 p.m. Friday July 30, 2004 in the Heritage Green Health Care Center, Greenhurst. A Greenhurst resident since 1998, she was born April 7, 1909, in Buffalo, the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Reidel Fick. She had been employed by the former William Hengerer Co. as a bookkeeper. She was a former member of Annunciation Mother's Club, the Bishop McMahan Parents Club and the Buffalo Home Bureau. The thing she enjoyed most was getting together with her family members, and will be missed by her family. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She is survived by two daughters: Joan Snyder of Bemus Point and Brenda Ficker of Ashville; two grandchildren: James R. Ficker of Cheektowaga and Karen L. Marlinski of Ashville; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Shea, who died Dec. 25, 1993; and four brothers: Edwin, Martin, Francis and Vincent Fick. The funeral service will be held in Buffalo at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Dietrick Funeral Home, Amherst, N.Y.
