Eli Davis, Louise's brother. He married Emma A. Butler abt. 1875 (I'm still working on obtaining documentation). They had children: Fred, George J., Harry L., Eva C., Archibald W. & Nellie L. Davis. Fred was born in NY and then the family moved to Forest County, PA where the rest of the children were born. Archibald was my great-grandfather. Archibald married Bertha Osgood. In my Davis research I have seen that there were NY Osgoods in the same town so perhaps the families knew each other for several generations. I'm happy to send you a GED file on Levi's line, if you wish. I do not know Harriet's parents' names although I found her brother, Alvin Johnson Tyler, in several Chautauqua censuses based on your post and an obituary for Alvin that I found in another post. I would love to have the parent information! Thank you. I tried to search for Harriet and Alvin in Rochester/Monroe Co. prior to 1860 but I could not find either of them and therefore, could not find their parents. By coincidence, my family has been going to Chautauqua for years and we never knew that there was a paternal family connection there!
