Bernard Gustafson, 73, of 32 Pearl Ave., died at 12:55 a.m. today Dec. 12, 1973 in his home. He was personnel director at Dahlstrom Mfg. Co. prior to retiring in 1969. Mr. Gustafson came to the U.S. at three years of age from Sweden where he was born in Halland, Feb. 10, 1900, the son of John and Julia Bengston Gustafson. He was confirmed in the First Lutheran Church, class of 1911, the year he came to Jamestown to make his home. Memberships include Mt. Moriah Lodge 145 F. & A. M., Jamestown Consistory, Jamestown Shrine Club, Ismailla Temple of Buffalo, and the American Assn. of Retired Persons. Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Anderson; a daughter, Miss Marilyn Gustafson, at home, a son, Paul B. Gustafson, a medical student at the University of Buffalo; and a brother, Ragnar Gustafson, Bemus Point. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
