Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/SRB.2ACE/8072.2 Message Board Post: in 1840 there is ONE DODGE iving in Harbor Creek Erie Co PA, according to this you posted, They including Warren P DODGE came here when he was 12 which would be about 1838 John Dodge Harbor Creek, Erie, Pennsylvania in this census, John is 50-60, has in house 2 males, 1 is 20-30 and one is 15-20 This probably your Warren also in house is 1 female 50-60; 2 females 20-30, 1 under 5 and one 5-10 Perhaps the eldest son is also here with a wife and under 5 ch there is a John age 36 in Harbor Creek in 1850 aged to be the eldest male in the 1840 census he is now 36, born NY, wife Jemima, ch, Edwin 5 and Thomas 2 Just a thought you may want to check out; but this the only DODGE in town there is in 1850 one BETESY DODGE b in Maine there too 1780's she is INDEXED as abt 1783 North Carolina but reading the actual image the state is ME
