She was born Aug. 17, 1928, in Jamestown, the daughter of Andrew R. and Rosetta Ecklund. She was a 1946 graduate of Falconer High School. She had been employed by the former Marine Midland Bank, now HSBC Bank in Falconer and Jamestown, and was secretary to the principal at Manchester High School in Manchester, N.Y. She enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines of Jamestown and the Rochester chapters, and was active in various quartets. She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, piano and organ. She is survived by her husband, Rudolph Reger, whom she married June 1971; two daughters: Karyn L. Bosko of Cummings, Ga., and Pamela K. LaTone of Bemus Point; two sons: Robert J. Engblom of Ellington and David W. Engblom of Jamestown; nine grandchildren: Lisa Joslyn-Bowe of San Francisco, Sarah and Adrienne Bosko, both of Georgia, David, Timothy and Danielle Engblom of Brecksville, Ohio, Michael LaTone Jr. of Warwick, R. I., and Christine and Kimberly LaTone, both of Bemus Point; a sister, Ethel Phillips of Jamestown; and three brothers: Richard Ecklund of Jamestown, Roger Ecklund of Hermitage, Pa., and Donald Ecklund of Las Vegas. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Engblom. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Falconer.
