I do have a copy of the obit but I can't locate him in the Garfield Family Tree. I have many Garfields from the Jamestown, Frewsburg and Busti area going all the way back to Joseph and Samuel Garfield who were the first Garfields to settle in Chautauqua County but can't seem to find any trace of Edward or his parents. Any help along thoses lines would be great. I also have not been able to find the location of where Samuel and his wife are buired in the area. He died in 1859 I do believe, he is my GGGGrandfather. I was born and raised in French Creek, NY. on a dairy farm west of Clymer. Have checked the Stillwater Cemetery a couple of times with no luck. Thanks again, Dick.
