McEwen Mrs. Ina M. McEwen, 84, of the Heritage Village Health center, Gerry. formerly of 369 E. Fairmont Ave., Lakewood, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday (Sept 6 1976) at the Health Center. She was the widow of Arthur C. McEwen, who died in 1956. A Buffalo resident for 45 years, Mrs McEwen was born in Poland Center, Aug 29, 1892, a daughter of Austin James and Viola Harrington Stafford. She attended the Kennedy School system and the Jamestown Business College and later employed at the former Hanson Electric Co. Surviving is a nephew, Burton J. Stafford of Fredonia. Several nieces, including Mrs. Marion Klawon of Lakewood, Mrs. Virginia Keefe of Stedman, and Mrs. Ruth Samuelson of Gerry. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Herchel H. Hutt, chaplain at Heritage Village, will officiate. Burial will be in the Levant Cemetery.
