Mastrian, 94, of Heritage Green Health Care Center, died at 8 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 30, 2001) in WCA Hospital. She was born March 24, 1907, in Shamokin, Pa., a daughter of Howard and Lydia Weaver Moore. She was a graduate of Shamokin High School. She had been employed by the former A&P grocery store as a clerk. She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. Surviving are a daughter, Nancy Frangione of Jamestown; 13 grandchildren: 28 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Moore of Fountainhills, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Thomas, whom she married July 28, 1929, and who died in 1949; her second husband, Frank Mastrian, whom she married July 22, 1950, and who died in 1991; three daughters: Peggy Thomas, Bessy Henry and Jackie Neid; a grandson, Daniel Henry; a sister, Florence Guinand; and five brothers: Marion, Howard, William, John and Charles Moore. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
