Walker, 83, of the Frewsburg Rest Home, formerly of 125 Water St., died at 1:25 a.m. Sunday (March 20, 2005) in WCA Hospital. He was born July 26, 1921, in Kennedy, the son of Ira H. and Jenny Edblom Walker. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, stationed in Pearl Harbor; and a member of the Celoron American Legion. He is survived by two daughters, Sanda Harvey and Janice Thompson of Frewsburg; and one son, Gary Walker of Watts Flats; seven grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; a sister, Mona Nelson of Frewsburg; and a brother, Rodney Walker of Phoenix, Ariz. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Lucille V. Walker, whom he married July 19, 1941, in Frewsburg and who died Aug. 31, 1998; a daughter, Judith Walker Lutgen, who died in 1969; a grandson, Robery Harvey; a brother, Ira Walker Jr.; and four sisters: Katherine Mansfield, Evelyn Cooper, Madeline Garfield and Allene Nelson.
