Waldron, 82, formerly of Lewiston, N.Y., died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday (March 29, 2003) in Heritage Green Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., the daughter of James and Helen Sedlak Knize. She was a 1939 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was a former member of Cobblestone United Methodist Church, Newfane and the Home Bureau of Kenmore serving as secretary and treasurer. She enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, crocheting and gardening. Surviving are her husband, Jennings Waldron, whom she married Sept. 29, 1945; two sons: David Waldron of Bemus Point, and Dennis Waldron of Spencerport, N.Y.; four grandchildren: Paul and Nathan Waldron, both of Spencerport, Sheri Waldron of Bemus Point, and Krista Waldron of Ithaca; a brother, Henry Knize of Lewiston; and three sisters: Shirley Elia of Newfane, Pauline Sullivan and Becky Young, both of Lewiston. She was preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Steinbrenner; and a brother James Knize. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bemus Point United Methodist Church, Bemus Point. The Rev. Daniel G. McBride, pastor, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Dickersonville Cemetery, Lewiston.
