Piazza, 79, of Goodrich Street, died Saturday (Oct. 5, 2002) in St. Vincent's Health Care Center, Erie. She was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Ripley, the daughter of Charles W. and Pearl Testrake Pratt. She was a graduate of Ripley Central School and a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1950 to 1951. A California resident from 1952 to 1985, She is survived by two sons: Kenneth and Samuel Piazza, both of San Diego; two daughters: Vicki Piazza of San Diego and Bonnie Lay of Neptune, N.J.; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Pratt; and two sisters: Jean Hawker and Betty Stone. (PJ Obit)
