Paddock Rounds, 82, formerly of Greenhurst Village, died at 3:32 p.m. Monday March 24, 2003 in Manor Oak Life Center. A lifelong area resident, she was born Oct. 25, 1920, in Panama, the daughter of Fred G. and Lettie Wakefield Paddock. She attended Celoron school and was employed as a young girl by Evan's Skating Rink in Celoron. She was also employed by Truck Lite Co., and for several years prior to retirement by Anderson Cleaners. She was a member of The First Church of God in Jamestown. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with friends. While at Celoron school, she met her husband and also sold the first rink ticket at Evans Skating Rink. She is survived by a son, William F. Rounds of Jamestown; a daughter, Judith A. Lewis of Cherry Creek; and two grandsons: Kenneth G. Rounds and Bradley W. Rounds, both of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth B. Rounds, who died April 11, 1999; and two brothers: Frederick and Robert Paddock. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
