Dunkirk, Chautauqua Co NY He was born April 21, 1917, in Madera, Pa., the son of Wasco and Annie Peslipsky Yebernetsky. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.He is survived by two sisters: Catherine Youhon of Brisben, Pa., and Margaret Kitko of Ohio; and three brothers: George Yebernetsky of Madera, John Yebernetsky of Dubois, Pa., and Harry Yebernetsky of Glen Hope, Pa. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret Halgus Yebernetsky, who died May 1978; his second wife, Gladys Brown Yebernetsky in 2001; a brother, Michael Yebernetsky; and four sisters: Anna Daniel, Mary Fetchu, Nancy Wasilko and Evelyn Checkaneck.his burial place unknown NOT Portland Evergreen YEBERNETSKY, Gladys nee BROWN age 92 died Jan 6, 2001 * Gladys Yebernetsky, 97, of Berry Road, Fredonia, died Saturday (Jan. 6, 2001) in the Waters of Dunkirk. She was born Oct. 31, 1903, in Wattsburg, Pa., the daughter of Philip and Mary Jane McCelland Brown. She was a Fredonia resident since 1955 and formerly lived in Mayville and Brocton.Surviving is her husband, Wasco ‘‘Lefty’’ Yebernetsky of Fredonia; a daughter, Gladys Bifaro of Naples, Fla.; two grandchildren: Wanda Calvenback and Clifford Bifaro, both of Naples; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Emphiss Wood, who died in 1971; three brothers: Cecil, Charles and Ike Brown; five sisters: Mable Wood, Cora Mather, Elizabeth Howard, Hattie Erskin and Gertrude Pierce. GLADYS is buried in Portland Evergreen Cemetery
