She was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Jamestown, the daughter of Joseph Terrano and the late Jennie Messina Terrano. She was a 1972 graduate of Jamestown High School, a 1976 graduate of D'Youville College and earned her masters degree from the University of Buffalo in 1978. She had been employed by Catholic Charities in the Salamanca-Olean Division, Cattaraugus County Social Service and Family Services of Jamestown. She was an active volunteer with United Way, a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and was recognized as an outsanding field education supervisor through the University of Buffalo School of Social Work. Besides her father of Jamestown, she is survived by two brothers: Angelo J. Terrano of Jamestown, and Phillip F. Terrano of Angola; and a sister, JoAnn Giordano of Jamestown. Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Jamestown, NY.
