Penhollow, 75, of 6th St., Jamestown, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2005 at WCA Hospital. Born Jan. 19, 1930 in the town of Ellicott, he is the son of the late Linwood and Pearl Seekings Penhollow. A Chautauqua County resident most of his life, he attended Jamestown schools. He was a veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict, serving with the U.S. Army infantry division. He was recipient of two Bronze Service Stars. He was employed at Jamestown Malleable Iron, Jamestown Table Company and was a truck driver for various companies. He was a former member of the American Legion Henry Mosher Post #638. He is the father of Linda Libengood, Irvin Penhollow Jr., Richard Penhollow, all of Jamestown; Also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother of Chester Penhollow of Jamestown, and the late Raymond and Leland Penhollow and Elizabeth Kepler and Betty Sheffield. Funeral services 11 a.m. Thursday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville with Dr. Douglas Penhollow, officiating. Burial in Dewittville Cemetery. Linwood (Lynwood) E. Penhollow son of Edgar & Melviane A. York Penhollow. Pearl D. Seekings (Seekins) daughter of Samuel & Elizabeth Seekings. Both buied in the Bemus Point Cemetery.
