Sampson, 68, of 2402 Vukote Road, Ashville, died Wednesday(May 30, 1990)in Saint Vincent Hospital, Erie, PA. She was the widow of William Phillip Sampson who died July 20, 1969. She was born March 9, 1922, in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late Clifford and Louise Busch Brock. An area resident for the past 40 years, Mrs. Sampson was employed by Apple Inn and formerly of the Agnes Home and Satellite Bowling Company. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Mt. Sinai-Mecca Chapter OES, Lakewood-Busti Golden Agers and Herman Kent Post American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are two daughters, Karen Sanford of West Ellicott and Patricia Morris of Orlando, FL.. a son Gerald C. Sampson of Ashville, nind grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Eleanor Lang of Lincoln Park, MI, and a brother, William Busch of Lancaster, PA. Besides her husband and pearents, she was preceded in death by a son, William Phillip Sampson, Jr., who died April 15, 1984. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Jamestown, NY.
