Like Dee, I keep hitting dead ends with Heber Cowden Sr.. I'm still digging though. Looks like Heber and Laommi are my winter projects. Question please about Laommi: Am I dreaming or did somebody tell me his wife was Lydia Packer, dau. of James Packer? I've looked her up, and there was a Lydia, dau. of James, but she was b. 1763. Laommi's wife was b. 1801. I've also run across an Ancestry.com entry that lists a Lydia, b. 1800 as the dau. of Aaron, who was the son of James Packer.
