Ratkowski, 95, formerly of 18 Hammond St., died at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday (July 3, 2001) in Brothers of Mercy Nursing Home. She was born June 14, 1906, in Austria, the daughter of John and Teckla Skurski Kulig. She was a communicant of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Erickson of Clarence; two grandsons: Timothy Erickson of Clarence and Thomas Erickson of New York City; a great grandson; and a sister, Mary K. Eddy of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Walter Ratkowski, who died October 12, 1964; a daughter, Marian Ratkowski; a son, Walter W. Ratkowski Jr.; a brother, Stanley J. Kulig; and two sisters: Victoria Visosky and Catherine M Jercha. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
