She was born Aug. 31, 1907 to the late Harvey II and Amy Jane (Moon) Jones. Mrs. Winchester was a registered nurse graduating from the Class of 1928 at the former Jamestown General Hospital School of Nursing. She had a very keen interest in needlework and made many beautiful pieces for family members. She is survived by three children, Grant E. (Marian) Winchester of Bemus Point, Marilyn W. (Stephen) Elliot of Mayville with whom she had made her home for three and a half years and D. Joanne Moyle of Lewisville, Texas. In addition, she is survived by seven grandchildren, Timothy, James and Robert Winchester, all of Bemus Point, Christopher S. and Mary A. Elliot of Mayville, Mark Moyle of Lewisville, Texas and Julie M. Martinez of Richardson, Texas; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Winchester, whom she married June 30, 1928 in Brocton and who died Aug. 19, 1981; a grandson, Jeffrey Winchester, who died July 5, 1981; one brother; and eight sisters.
