A lifelong area resident, he was born Aug. 15, 1929, in Jamestown, the son of Floyd and Rose Mihalko Shattuck. He attended Jamestown schools and had served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.a driver for the veterans van to Erie for disabled veterans. He was a member of the Robert P. Illig Chapter 47 Disabled American Veterans and the Henry Mosher Post 638 American Legion. He is survived by a son, Richard L. Shattuck of Jamestown Burial will be in the Cherry Creek Central Cemetery PJ obit
