Her son Albert Jack , daugher-in-law Lena and granddaughter Rena are burried in the Lake View Cemetery. I live in Idaho so it would be a long drive to look for myself. I will write to the cemetery and see what they can tell me. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I do have Judson's pension record as well as the other information. His mother Lelia Fitch-Terry-Burrall had remarried to an unknown Burrall. Now I am just missing her daughter Loucinda/Louisa/Lannisa Terry from first marriage found in the 1892 and 1900 census and also where Lelia might be buried. Judson remarried to a Margaret McCormick and had three more children which I have found. Lelia remarried an unknown Burrall and also had 3 more children. I have found Arthur Jack, Remus Vincent, but have not found anything on Romulous since the 1900 census. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Author: lgreynolds152 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.newyork.counties.chautauqua/21351.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Abram De Ruiter was my great grandfather, born on June 24, 1868 on a farm near Renesse Holland. I think he had one brother, Andrew and one sisterm adrianna. He met and married Jennie Bohm (from a small town near the Hague)and they had 9 children. The children were names: Andrew, Adrianna, Elizabeth(Adeline), Martha, Cora, Edward, Walter. Henry and Richard. The family name was changed to De Rider when the children went to school. The family always lived in Dunkirk, N.Y. All of the children have passed on. My mother was the daughter of Paul Albach and Elizabeth Adrianna (Adeline) De Rider Albach. Family records show that Abram worked odd jobs after arriving in Dunkirk for about 6 months and then started working for Brooks Locomotive Works in the powerhouse. He worked there for about 15 years and then started to lay cement walks and curbing for Streets in the Dunkirk area around 1916. He built his own home on 719 Monroe St. Which still stands today. He became a citizen of the United states on July 31 1897. After quitting cement works he continued on to work at Romer Axe Works in Dunkirk. The Romer Axe works burned down in 1926 so he went to work for the Monroe Estate. He passed away on October, 24, 1928. This information was written in a letter by my great uncle Richard De Rider whose wife (Aleatha De Rider) is still living and shares a room at a nursing home with my mother. Aunt Aleatha is in her 90's. Jennie DeRider was said to have a heart condition and could not do normal house work but baked extensively. Richard De Rider said his parents spoke Engli! sh to him (the youngest of nine) but did speak Dutch to the older children. Hope this has been helpful. Albany Gazette Daniel Alvertson age 29 died 22 June 1827 Columbus, Chenango , NY. Buried Lambs Corner Cemetery Columbus Corners Cemetery is located on Route 8 near the South Edmeston turn-off and about seven miles north of New Berlin. In 1802, Elijah Palmer sold to Alvin Lamb a plot of land of which 1/2 acre was reserved for burial purposes. More land was donated and in 1867 the association was formed. Many knew the cemetery as the "Lamb's Corners Cemetery" for many years. This census was taken by Frances Robbins in 1966 and updated by Barbara Avery, Columbus Town Historian and Columbus Corners Cemetery Association Treasurer over the last few years. Betsey's, husband Daniel Alverson died in 1827 just a month before his daughter Elmira was born. Their daughter Amey died when she was 3 years old, I am guessing she may have been born abt 1825. Elmira died in 1842 when she was 15 years old, and Betsey died in 1845 some three years later. Her married life seemed to be filled with sadness.
