I believe he married Oliver's daughter Prudence. In 1850 Stephen, Prudence, and children lived in Ellicott. I also suspect that Stephen came from Washington Co, Ny because that is where Oliver Shearman came from. I would really like to know who Stephen's parents were, and if anyone has proof that Stephen married Prudence Shearman. Thank you.

She attended Kittanning High School and was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ford City. She is survived by a son, William Camp III of Mayville; five grandchildren: Linda Ruch, Robert Trusler, Susan Freeburg and Bonnie Kelly, all of Jamestown, and Andrea Ruah of Leechburg, Pa.; 10 great-grandchildren; and three grest-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in deth by her first husband, William Camp II; a daughter, Florence Knepshield; 10 brothers; and six sisters. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Ford City. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Ukrainian Cemetery, Ford City. Falconer Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

She was a former member of the Centralia Grange, the Home Bureau and the Pink Ladies Organization at Walker Memorial Hospital in Avon Park. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Murdock of Winter Haven, and Jamestown; three grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters: Arlene Dorman and Margaret Follon of Avon Park. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Charles Olson; a sister, Mildred Grien; and a brother, Robert Larson. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

He was a member of Maple Springs Veteran of Foreign Wars 557 and Ira Lou Spring Post American Legion 149 of Jamestown. He is survived by three daughters: Tanya Oleschak of Vermont, Marianne Crider of Texas and Natalie States of Sinclairville; a son, Luke Oleschak of Arkansas; a stepdaughter, Eva Jean Earle of Warren; three grandchildren: Seth and Zephyr States, both of Sinclairville, and Curtis Crider of Arkansaas; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Parashas of Wayne, N.J. He owned and operated Sinclairville Motors from 1945 until his retirement in 1995. He enjoyed collecting gems and lapidary work. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dora M. Ferguson Okerlund, whom he married Sept. 21, 1942; a son Johnny L. Okerlund of Sinclairville; two daughters: Darla J. Frost of Sinclairville and Karen E. William (Berend Willem) Mensink was a son of John (Jan Aalbert) Mensink and Janna Geertruid "Jennie" Sieverdink. Jan Aalbert Mensink, born 30 October 1791, was a son of Harmen Jan Mensink and Gesina Hofkes. Harmen Jan Mensink, born 15 January 1755, was a son of Aalbert Mensink and Berendina Woestenes. Aalbert Mensink, born 12 December 1723, was a son of Coene Mensink and Hermken Boovelijnck. Coene Mensink, born 13 May 1683, was a son of Berent Mensink and Geesken Lesinck. Berent Mensink, baptized 3 November 1652, son of Aelbert Scholten and Stijnken te Bengevoort. Berent probably was baptized as a Scholten, but adopted the Mensink name when he moved to the Mensink farm in Ratum, a neighborhood of Winterswijk. Some of the birthdates listed here may have been baptism dates. All of these Mensinks were born in Winterswijk, probably in Ratum.

After graduating from Jamestown High School in 1918, she completed a business training course and was employed as a bookkeeper by American Manufacturing Concern. In 1960, she was named secretary-treasurer of the company and served as a director until retirement. She was also secretary-treasurer of the William T. Falconer Estate Inc. A charter member of the Stillwater United Methodist Church, having joined when the first building was constructed in 1918, she served as church organist, youth leader, Sunday school teacher and financial secretary. She was an active member of the Zonta Club of Jamestown, serving in various capacities including president and director, and was also on the board of the Marvin House. She also traveled e! xtensively. Surviving are three nephews and two nieces. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Gerald Arthur Broadhead on Nov. 8, 1929, Clarence James Broadhead, Jan. 6, 1982, and Russell Haynes Broadhead, Feb. 8, 1991. In earlier years, he had been a landscaper and housepainter and in later years, was employed by the former Falconer Glass Industries and the former Watson Manufacturing. He was a member of the Jamestown, Corry and Lakeshore Coin Clubs. An avid hunter and fisherman, he had also always enjoyed antiques and flea markets. Carl's family has requested that as a memorial, friends donate the gift of time by giving someone a ride to an activity or by taking someone fishing. Besides his mother, Estella McIntyre, and stepfather, Arnold McIntyre, both of Chautauqua, he is survived by a son, Cleo Nixon of Panama; four daughters: Debbie Nixon of Rochester, and Bonnie Nixon, Brenda Dominey and Connie Mahar, all of Jamestown; a stepson, Herman Williams of Jamestown; a stepdaughter, Patricia Carlson of Jamestown; 14 grandchildren; nine stepgrandchildren; three brothers: Richard Nixon of Florida, Ronald Nixon of Jamestown and Wesley McIntyre of Chautauqua; a sister, Helen Felt of Jamestown; and his companion Theresa Kibler of Jamestown. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Cleo Jr. and Alvin Nixon. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
