    1. BURMASTER Family Photograph
    2. Shelley & Tomas Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Christopher BURMASTER which was taken at the Ladd & Parker Studio in Fredonia, New York. I'm guessing that the photograph was taken sometime in the 1870's and that Christopher was probably in his teens or 20's at the time. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of Christ BURMASTER who was living with his brother Frederich BURMASTER in Irving, NY during the 1880 census. Census records indicate that Christ was age 27 at that time, born in Prussia, living with two other brothers, Charles age 24, and Frederich age 34. All three were Farmers, living with Frederich and his family. Frederich's wife was Martha age 30, born in NY. They had two children living with them at the time, William age 3, and Claria age 1, both born in NY. They also had a German born servant living with them at the time. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
